PERFECT POWER

PERFECT POWER

Snyder
We co-develop, own and operate grid-connected energy storage and micro-grid projects in the following western Texas areas.
Perfect Power Solutions Texas develops,
owns and operates mid-scale utility energy storage in ERCOT

The project sites are selected to solve for issues the grid faces such as frequency events and intermittency
events prompted by the increase in renewable generation. In addition, the batteries serve the system
at times that there is peak demand patterns and the grid may be facing thermal or renewable curtailments.
The projects use 2-hour lithiumion batteries. The technology was selected for its high cycle life and asset longevity,
giving the assets the ability to respond to dispatch requests in less than a second. The system will provide the ability for the batteries
to service the real-time marketplace as well as the ancillary service markets within ERCOT. The initial projects are in the
West Zone and there are plans in place to expand this footprint across other ERCOT load zones.

September 2021 - Perfect Power LLC (“Perfect Power”) announces commercial operations of its
9.95-megawatt (MW) stand-alone battery energy storage system consisting of 20-megawatt
hours (MWh) of duration capacity. Located within the city limits of Snyder in West Texas, this
system services the Deep Creek Oncor substation. The facility has 10 inverters, and 4 self
contained shipping containers which provide all of the services that the battery modules require
(HVAC, lighting, communications, etc). Connected at 12.47kV distribution level voltage, the
system follows dispatches issued by ERCOT and delivered to the SCADA. The facility uses a
proprietary cycle dispatching algorithm to determine optimal charge/discharge behavior.
